A scientifically spiritual approach to
preconception health over 12 weeks
“Dr Larisa is one person I wish every woman could speak to in their lifetime even just for a few minutes. I am always in awe of her knowledge, determination, and passion for fertility, and I didn't realise just how hard it was to have a baby, until I met who I call Freddie's Fairy Godmother.” Kathryn, coached in The Conception Plan methods alongside her husband, on the TV show This Morning, and who is now proud mother to her son, Freddie.”
A New Era
Welcome to a new era of health and wellness. One where a revolutionary new programme will address your fertility through a multi dimensional truly holistic approach.
Regardless of whether you’re preparing for a pregnancy in the future, trying naturally, or using assistive technologies to help, you’ll regain control of your fertility.
Based on the unique set of methodologies and principles of the bestselling book, The Conception Plan programme is a groundbreaking 12-week coaching journey designed to help couples and individuals take control of their health and rescript what’s going beyond their DNA, otherwise referred to as the epigenetic profile, to optimise their natural fertility.
Welcome! I celebrate you for wanting to do something different and believing in yourself to take the next step.
This is a path of self-transformation, discovery and becoming a healthier and more fertile version of you.
You will be guided through my revolutionary 5 pillar approach and coached in a safe and nurturing space designed to support you week by week towards parenthood.
You’ll start to understand some of the major obstacles to health and fertility that mainstream medicine often doesn’t address or even recognise, and be supported in overcoming these and evolving into the healthiest version of you.
Hello, I’m Doctor Larisa and I’m humbled that you’ve come to my website to find out more. Nothing would be a greater privilege than getting to help you, whether you’re ready to conceive a child, or you’re just after a different approach to a condition you may have been diagnosed with.
I’ve been obsessed with the science of hormones and the impact they have on our bodies, ever since my first biology class at school. I was that geeky kid that made sure they knew the vagina and vulva by their proper names, and brought up my menstrual cycle at the dinner table as if I was discussing the weather. And this was all before the age of social media! In truth, all the things societies consider taboo have been a normal part of my life ever since I can remember, being raised in an environment fascinated by both science and art in equal measure, and so it’s not surprising I grew up with a bohemian approach that gradually evolved into a holistic way of practising, combining both my passion for science and innate curiosity of the spiritual realm existing beyond this. Given I’m from the land of Nikola Tesla, I guess that seems pretty natural.
The mystical has always had an important part in my life, and I decided to study spirituality with the same level of dedication and academic fervour as medicine, in some of the most spiritual places in the world. As I deepened my understanding of both science and spirit, and Eastern as well as Western approaches,
I started drawing associations and making discoveries, many of which remained elusive to me as a doctor, until I was able to develop a new and unique lens through which I could view health. This fascination and commitment to finding answers (a combination of my own human design and astrological make up, I’m told), has led me to learning from some of the best esoteric healers and medical specialist in the world, and combining this expertise with my own practice, to create what I feel is a radically different approach to wellness, where I de construct all the dimensions of health into the physical, emotional and spiritual, and apply the full extent of my experience and knowledge in the alternative and allopathic, to help people to have children but also to become more fertile in the process.
Based on years of experience in helping couples and individuals, and my own training in both mainstream as well as complementary medicine, I have brought together those aspects of health and wellness that I consider to be instrumental in influencing someone’s ability to conceive and have the healthiest possible pregnancy.
These aspects are often either completely overlooked or given little attention, whereas when truly appreciated, they can make all the difference, not just to you, but to the health of your future child too.
My big passion is to empower people to be the healthiest and most fertile expressions of themselves, from the inside out, and to help build families of parents and children with a different level of consciousness. There’s nothing I love more than guiding someone to discovering the tools they have within themselves to regain control of their own health and wellbeing, as well as those of their children. This is why I built The Conception Plan, an integrated scientifically spiritual approach to conceiving, where I share all my learnings and teach you to give birth to the parent you want to be first, before I help you to have a child.
Rather than what we’re led to believe, being fertile is about becoming a new individual, first and foremost. Becoming a parent is that most precious and unique point in time when you have to let go of all the old constructs in order to let yourself evolve into a new version of yourself. This involves a process of physical as well as spiritual rebirth, and a commitment to the process of healing. We know this is possible through the science of epigenetics that teaches the possibility of transforming our genetic destiny through lifestyle. Embarking on parenthood is really a call to action to become more fertile in all aspects of life and I, along with the help of my trusted team of experts, will help to support you to do just that.
This is a pioneering scientifically spiritual approach where I’ve combined the best of the latest discoveries in Western science, with the ancient wisdom of Eastern healing.
This uniquely powerful system brings you a tried and tested set of implementable strategies that supports your body to naturally create more favourable conditions for a pregnancy, by addressing your physical, emotional and spiritual needs.
The benefits of this are not just for your fertility, but your general health as well as the transgenerational health of any children that are born.
My approach to care recognises people are more than just a collection of different systems that seemingly have nothing to do with each other. The issue of infertility is mainly seen as physical and solely focused on the pelvic organs. But we can’t separate the mind from the body and the emotional from the physical. An imbalance or distortion in one has consequences and long lasting impacts on the other. A physical disease almost inevitably has a mental and emotional component that exists alongside it, providing context for the condition. A large part of improving our health and fertility involves cultivating and nourishing a deeper and more authentic relationship between our body, mind and nervous system. Our bodies are a complex multi dimensional series of systems and physical ailments always present an opportunity for raising our level of awareness, calling us to witness the way we’ve been leading our lives, and seeking to empower us beyond the current state that we’re in.
We don’t just exist under the destiny of our genes or predispositions inherited from our parents, but we have the means of changing and adjusting the environment that exists within and outside of us and influencing the behaviour of what we’ve been dealt. The first environment any of us are ever exposed to is that of our mother’s womb, which is why the investment which happens before conception is so vital, as it’s the first thing our children will ever come into contact with. Our bodies and cells are constantly receiving information which is being processed and integrated. But if we aren’t supported in doing this properly, we can cultivate unhealthy habits that start to damage our health.
The path to conceiving can be long and difficult, not just because of co existing medical conditions, but also because it often unravels some of our deepest, most primal core wounds and epigenetic patterns we’ve either inherited or acquired over the course of our lives. What’s fascinating is that it also reveals what’s going on for us not just physically and mentally, but bioenergetically too. This is why health conditions, that include infertility, must take the whole person into account, not just parts of them.
The Conception Plan draws on the physical techniques in the realms of biochemistry, nutrition, epigenetics, functional medicine and neuropsychology, and combines them with bioenergetic principles, to offer a truly unique and fully integrated approach to wellness and preconception.
Conception is so much more than just the process of sperm meets egg. It’s a spiritual co-creative act that requires a unique consciousness and set of circumstances that optimise not just the conditions for pregnancy, but what your children go on to inherit. You are the one person who can make a difference and this programme will support you in providing the very best foundation on which to build your holistic health as you embark on parenthood.
In this programme, we look at fertility through a much deeper lens. We create a bridge between you now, and you as the healthiest most self-actualised parent of the future. You will be supported through intimate containers that nurture transformation and growth, encouraging inter-connection, inter-dependence, courage, collaboration, incubation and integration. When you deepen your connection with yourself and your partner, and begin to understand the patterns and wounds that affect you, you can begin to feel safe and supported to be able to show up for healing, which is a necessary part of becoming a parent.
Any venture you embark on requires that you commit your time and attention to it. Becoming a parent is arguably the most important venture you’ll ever undertake, but where do you learn and empower yourself with the tools required to understand how to parent yourself first, before bringing another human being into the world? Doing this programme literally has the potential to not only provide you with something that is totally unique and hard to come by, but the benefits will last well beyond the 12 weeks of coaching, to influence the rest of your life, where you become an active co creator of your own health evolution.
To be fertile in the truest and widest sense of the word is first of all about opening up to the possibility of conceiving a whole-istic version of yourself and manifesting health and vitality in all areas of your life, which may be a child, whose own health and reproductive potential is also enhanced as a result.
The Conception Plan is at the forefront of a renaissance in healthcare that looks to the person as a whole, trailblazing a wholly integrated approach through an endobiogenic lens, to allow a reprogramme of their epigenetic potential and to positively influence gene expression by virtue of changing their internal and external environment.
It recognizes that a person has both biological and energetic interconnecting systems that affect cell behaviour, and that emotional and spiritual health are an important part of what is expressed at the physical level. Our bodies assimilate experiences depending on how healthy and balanced these systems are. This determines the body’s response to its external and internal world. Due to the phenomenon of plasticity, this response can be reconditioned and relearned to cultivate health rather than disease. Even in cases where a condition such as endometriosis, polycystic ovaries or low sperm counts are identified, this holistic approach can be applied to help improve fertility outcomes.
Becoming a parent is the biggest commitment you will make in your life. It makes sense that you invest as much time in preparing for this (if not more) as you would in finding the perfect job or life partner. The Conception Plan aims to support you in your transformation by helping you to embody the healthiest consciousness behind conception. When you do this work before bringing children into the world, not only do you positively influence your own path of evolution, but your children’s too.
One in seven couples has trouble conceiving, and this number is growing, according to a 2019 report from the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. Not all of this is down to ageing parents. Now that we have IVF, many clinics don’t offer investigations into the subtler causes of infertility. Why would they, when there’s a method that can potentially resolve the issue and save time for the patient? The simple reason why I don’t agree with this approach is that having a baby doesn’t necessarily make you fertile.
But committing to a process where you effectively birth a healthier version of yourself prior to becoming a parent, expanding the possibilities available to you and addressing all aspects of your physical, emotional and spiritual wellness, will lead to being fertile in all areas of your life, in addition to helping you birth a baby into the world. Up to one-third of people have what the medical profession continues to call ‘unexplained infertility’.
This means there seems to be no obvious clinical cause, despite the usual fertility investigations. Very often these people are treated with assisted reproductive technologies, without finding out why they can’t get pregnant. However, I believe it’s better to treat the root causes, rather than bypass them.
All the patients I’ve ever met who have been diagnosed with ‘unexplained infertility’ want to know what’s behind it. When you know the cause, you are far more empowered to be able to do something about it. Anyone who’s been trying for a long time wants to know what they can do to make a baby happen. Everyone wants to be their most fertile and healthy and to maximize their baby’s health too, whether they plan to conceive now or are thinking about a baby in the future. Your body (unless you use a surrogate, in which case they need this approach too!) will be the incubator for your future baby. What you do now will either reduce or increase the chance of successful fertilization and implantation, as well as the health of your future child. It will affect how healthy your pregnancy is and how well you feel throughout it.
This programme is designed to support you in all those places that go undetected and unidentified by mainstream medicine, yet are often at the root of unexplained infertility. When these factors are addressed they can very often make the crucial difference when it comes to conception.
Doing The Conception Plan may mean you don’t need to use assisted fertility techniques such as IVF, which can be arduous as well as traumatic, and should not be used in place of treating reversible causes of infertility. However, if you do still need to use assisted reproductive technology (ART) for a variety of different reasons, you’ll improve your chances of success by investing in your health, first and foremost, which will also help reduce the number of times you may need this intervention, including intrauterine insemination (IUI) and in vitro fertilization (IVF), amongst others. In addition, it will help to look after your health in pregnancy, as well as optimising the health of your children.
The Conception Plan addresses major areas where almost all of us need to improve. It isn’t a case of radically overhauling everything. It’s about understanding that you have the power to control so much of your own health through slow and steady adjustments in your direct environment, which will change your behaviour. This in turn will affect your long-term habits and your relationship with your mind and body. Small steps taken each day, when they are sustained, will not only improve your fertility, but also your general sense of well-being, leaving you with more energy, better mental clarity and a fitter body and mind. I have seen this approach help and support many people in their quest to have a baby and lead a healthier life. But even beyond that, when people become truly aligned physically, mentally and spiritually, they become potent creators and manifesters of their future and their destiny.
One dictionary definition of ‘fertile’ is capable of becoming a new individual. During the preparation for becoming a parent, not only are you getting ready to make a new individual, but you’re also changing and reshaping yourself. For some people, getting pregnant can appear magically simple. For others, this is not the case: hours spent monitoring ovulation, timing sex, going from scan to scan, injecting needles into themselves and waiting for test results. It can be both emotionally and physically overwhelming. You may feel powerless, losing confidence and even identity, and damaging your self-worth and your mental health in the process. There is no denying the fact that trying to conceive may test you in the most challenging of ways.
Even the ‘easiest’ of fertility journeys brings with it anxieties and difficulties. And struggling to have a baby can put you in touch with your deepest vulnerabilities. The loss of control can make everything in life feel precarious and overwhelming. Any plan becomes provisional. Living in a state of anxiety, disorientation and constant change becomes the new normal.
If all this sounds familiar, then I promise you it’s possible to come home to yourself again. The Conception Plan will help you regain a sense of control. Having faith in being able to adapt, make changes and get through what seem like insurmountable obstacles will help to guide you past your grief, confusion, anger and lost convictions. All you have to do, at the beginning, is commit to taking the small steps where you will be guided and supported. This is an act of faith. Soon you’ll begin to get a glimmer of hope – and that can be all you need to keep going. This is why I created The Conception Plan, to provide something tangible in a situation that can sometimes feel anything but. The Conception Plan will give you a sense of direction and purpose, enabling you to become the fittest and most thriving version of yourself. As they say, if you want to see a change in your life, you must do something different. By considering this programme, you’ve already shown yourself willing to commit to change.
My Unique Scientifically Spiritual Approach to Becoming a Parent:
The Conception Plan recognises that physical solutions and medical interventions are not the only answer to infertility, and that the mind and spirit have an important role. Most of all, it values the fact that you, above all else, have the power to change your health and equips you with the tools necessary to improve your health, fertility and become a parent. Whilst being a series of implementable, customisable and proven strategies to help with conception, as well as positively influencing the health of any child that’s born, most of all, it’s a way of being that you will adopt as a lifestyle and take with you for the rest of your life, that may not only change your reproductive lifespan and outcomes, but also those of your children and their long term health.
Your emotions and previous life experiences are a vital part of shaping your biology. Yet they’re often totally dismissed by conventional medicine, which is happy to label over a third of those struggling to conceive as having “unexplained infertility”. The Conception Plan is about answering why you may be experiencing challenges and helping you to do something about them. It’s also about recognising that though your genes contain a blueprint for your health and fertility, they are shaped and modified by the uniqueness of your environment and it’s the individuality of this that moulds the internal landscape of your health. This is the new frontier of science called epigenetics and it’s at the very core of The Conception Plan.
The Conception Plan programme not only helps to increase your chances of conception, but also co-creates the optimum environment for ensuring your baby has the best possible blueprint for health later in life.
In addition, The Conception Plan may also help to extend your own fertile window and encourage healthy habits and changes that will remain with you throughout your parenting journey and beyond.
By consciously approaching your conception in this way, you will be guided on a personal journey of deep healing, to birth a healthier, more fertile and empowered version of you. The children you go on to have as a consequence stand to benefit from this vital investment you make in your preconception health.
Feeling more energised, clearer minded with a different level of self awareness and consciousness
Leading a healthier life where you make healthier choices that benefit your long term wellbeing
Improving your menstrual health with more regular cycles and a more balanced immune and hormonal system
Improving your symptoms naturally across a range of gynaecological conditions
Helping to reduce and slow down the impact of ageing on your health
Increasing sex drive and cultivating a healthy intimate relationship with your partner and yourself
Developing a deeper and more intimate connection with yourself
Improving your natural fertility, even if you end up using assisted reproductive technologies to help you conceive a child (which in themselves don’t make you fertile)
Improving your health during pregnancy, the post natal period and beyond, even into menopause
Optimising the health of any children you have
Becoming a potent manifestor in all aspects and areas of your life!
Whether it’s treating patients with infertility or managing a woman’s labour, I often learn a lot more about the patient from observation rather than from what they say. When I ask about feelings, relationships, previous experiences and emotions, this almost inevitably opens people up to reveal hidden fears, grief and pain, which can often be subconscious. It has become increasingly obvious to me that there are always multiple factors influencing how a woman or a man feels going into pregnancy and birth, and these can interfere with their ability to conceive, yet all too often they are completely missed by those of us in the medical profession. But bigger than that, suppressed emotions are not innocuous. They influence a whole cascade of biological processes that create your chemical and hormonal environment, which ultimately impacts on your overall well-being and even your fertility, via epigenetics (more on this in the next chapter). Your brain is one of the most important reproductive organs, because it directly interacts with all the other organs and oversees their behaviour. Evidence is building about the impact of the mind and previous emotional experiences on many diseases, including endometriosis and chronic pelvic pain. Mental and emotional health matters, and fertility is a place where they matter significantly.
As a doctor, I’ve learned that when there is a greater appreciation of the emotional context of someone’s symptoms and presentation, this can lead to insights and breakthroughs in helping that person. As you make your way through the programme, you will consider how your own previous experiences may have shaped your emotions and your health too. These invisible layers of old emotions and trauma may seem a million miles away from getting pregnant. But as Deepak Chopra states, we are not inside our minds, but our mind is inside us and in every single cell of our being. Every single cell of our bodies – no matter what organ it relates to – can memorize experiences.
This programme is designed to help support and guide you in navigating challenging emotions and helping to rewire any unhealthy patterns you may have developed to manage them. It will teach you how to process and integrate your feelings and approach them as important sign posts, paving the way for better health and fertility.
Ancient traditions have long upheld a spiritual view of reproduction, whereas modern medicine identifies problems and provides a more mechanical solution. As useful as assisted conception methods such as IVF are, they have created a medical system where the sacred act of conceiving is treated as solely a physical process.
But conception is the unification of the body, mind and soul of two beings. It starts with the consciousness brought to the act of conceiving, leading to the fertilization of the sperm and egg, which then gives rise to a human being. It shouldn’t come as a surprise that an approach involving the unification of science and spirituality is what’s needed to cultivate a new understanding and awareness around conception. The two worlds are beginning to work together, to help support the path to parenthood, but in general health too. In part it’s because people are taking their health into their own hands, with greater access to a wealth of information than ever before and an interest in what complementary approaches can bring.
To consciously conceive, we have to be intentional about all of the aspects we bring to the process of becoming pregnant, and the consequences that this carries for the child and us as prospective parents. The investment we make in our health prior to conception will be the single most important thing we do to invest in our long term health, those of our children and any generations that come after us. But it requires a different process to what we’ve traditionally been taught, and where preconception has been seen as barely more than just taking prenatal vitamins.
Before we bring a child into the world, we must first go through a process of birthing ourselves. This involves becoming conscious of all the different elements that make up our health, from the food we eat, to what we expose ourselves to in our environments, to the thoughts we ruminate over each day. We must develop an awareness of the events, circumstances, conditions and patterns that have shaped who we are now and be ready to step on to a path of self evolution that involves becoming curious about the challenges we face, and being open to transforming them. Our minds and bodies are just as important when it comes to shaping our health, yet so much of the allopathic medical model leaves out the mind, which happens to be a vital part of the puzzle that makes up our health and fertility. I believe in coalescing the mind, body and spirit together when it comes to helping someone become pregnant, and creating shifts of consciousness that change our physical, emotional and spiritual states. The journey to conceiving a child starts much earlier than when most people presume it does. It goes all the way back to our childhoods and our own personal experiences that shape who we become.
Conceiving a child is really when spirit and science come together and both of these realms need to be addressed. When we do the work that’s necessary in order to become healthier, we also heal any unhealthy generational patterns that have been handed down, and change the trajectory for our children. Becoming a parent is the most vulnerable yet most exciting journey we’ll ever make, co creating new stories and possibilities with our bodies, that aren’t necessarily the fate of what we’ve been handed down.
The Conception Plan is a fertility lifestyle. Each small step you take during the twelve weeks of coaching will be building strong foundations for a happy, healthy pregnancy. As the practical, simple changes accumulate over time, you will not only notice a difference, but will also feel different. And as has been the case for all those I have looked after with this plan, it’s not simply their health that has changed, but their whole life. When you learn the tools for co-creating a new level of health and fertility, this has the added benefit of allowing you to create circumstances in your life that are more fully aligned and true to the new version of yourself. All that’s required is for you to commit to it.
Are you ready to embrace a different route to becoming the healthiest and most fertile version of yourself? Has the traditional medical route left you with more questions than answers? Have you been told there doesn’t seem to be an explanation for why you’re struggling to fall pregnant or there’s little that you can personally do to improve your situation? Or that your only option is to resort to invasive techniques?
What if instead of being made to feel you had to outsource all your personal power, you could actually be guided towards finding it within yourself? And what if you could learn to view your situation through a holistic lens where you start to understand all the different contributing factors and how to do something about these? What if you could be supported to heal in a way that aligned with your spiritual path?
Do you want to be the most fertile version of yourself and invest in your long term health, as well as ensuring your children are the healthiest they can be? Are you looking to embrace your wellness physically, mindfully and spiritually? Are you ready for a new revolutionary paradigm of healthcare that recognises you hold all the codes to your own healing and provides you with both a scientific and spiritual approach to health and conceiving? Then, welcome, I’m so glad you found me!

Amber Drake-Eubanks is a Human Design and Gene Keys Coach. This is the study of the consciousness each of us has been imprinted with from the point we were in our mother’s wombs, and onwards. It is a process of unravelling the inner journey that has the potential to transform us from one state of being into another, and offer insights into the issues we face in life, and how to overcome them. This work is particularly relevant when it comes to conception and birthing.
Amber is a 6/2 Sacral Generator with her Gene Key Life’s Work in the 53rd Gene Key (Expansion - Line 6 Teacher), so, naturally, she can’t help but catalyse her clients into powerful self-expression and potent personal self-reflection through the energy of expansion.
She also carries the 63rd Gift of Inquiry, bringing the energy of learning, curiosity, and deep contemplation to everything she does and creates.
She and her partner chose conscious conception for the newest member of their family (a baby boy, born May 13th, 2024). The space they cultivated and the depths they went to in order to mend their hearts, their hurts and traumas before conceiving, was nothing short of miraculous.
Amber is “over-the-moon excited” to be a part of The Conception Plan Programme. Because she believes everyone wanting to conceive deserves to be fully in tune with their body, soul, and mindwhen they step into the potent journey of parenthood.
Through working with the Gene Keys, you will journey through your own time in the womb, early childhood through early adulthood, witnessing your conditioning and patterns in such a way that you can potently transform your relationship with yourself and your partner, and allow healing to occur.
She fiercely believes that we are given the gift of passing on our gifts and our highest frequencies to our little ones, and she can’t wait to help others to do this.
